LVL3 Classify plane shapes and prisms by their spatial features.

Classify plane shapes and prisms by their spatial features.

You will be able to define the characteristics of things and use these.
characteristics as a basis for sorting. Plane figures are those that lie flat,
so have only two dimensions. So circles, triangles, and hexagons are all plane shapes.
At Level Three students should be able to classify plane shapes by the following
characteristics: number of sides and angles (for example all triangles have three sides),
parallel or non-parallel sides (for example a trapezium has one pair of parallel sides),
equal or unequal side length, angle size (less than, equal to, greater than a right angle),
lines of mirror symmetry and order of rotational symmetry (for example a square maps
onto itself four times in a full turn)

LVL5 Maths Work

LVL 5
Given similar right-angled triangles, the ratios of side lengths are the same, like this one.

For both triangles, the ratio of the sides opposite and adjacent to angle A is 6/8 = 0.75

For any similar triangle, this is also true. This ratio is the tangent of angle A, so A = 37°.

You can rotate the star and it will turn around.
It will be the same shape but it

Naturalistic Intelligence LVL5

One of the challenges in this activity is to understand what is meant by contours.
Contours on a map are lines that show areas of the same height. Even with this information,
it can be difficult for the students to imagine the terrain,
by simply looking at a map and mentally processing the numbers.
In this situation,
the students can learn a lot by generating a profile of the ocean floor using the
“cross section” method.
If you want to do this first you need to draw a set of axes.
Let the x-axis represent the horizontal distance and the y-axis vertical elevation.
The scale used for the axes must be the same as that used on the map, that is,
1 centimetre represents 10 kilometres on the horizontal.
For the vertical scale, make 1 centimetre represent 1 000 metres.

Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence LVL4

My Group and I have been working on a way we can use Verbal-Linguistic for our maths work, So Mr. Carter helped out by showing us different ways. My group and I chosen to do the map for this subject, We wanted to use a map from a popular online game for our map and the online game is called "Fortnite" So I used google to find a current fortnite map and used it as a treasure map for our work we used East, West, North, South for the map and did a treasure map. Unfortunately, our work cannot be on the blog.Image result for fortnite map

Position and Orientation LVL3

For this subject, My group and I have been working out to what with this, So we worked out to how we are going to this but we thought of doing a maze because it evolves the title. We tried to draw our own but it got to difficult to use our creative but just got a photo from the internet/ Google and used it for our work Unfortunately no photos.

Shapes with body language

My group I, Have been working on finger shapes we included shapes like circle, triangle and other more the most difficult thing about this subject was what kind of shapes we can do with our fingers, Unfortunately, I have no photos but My group and I have worked had to improve our learning to the next level.

Two classes, Three dimensional shapes in geometric shapes LVL 4

INTRODUCTION- What I've been doing and learning is Two classes and Three dimensional shapes

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING- The subject I have been doing evolves some three dimensional shape and two classes

Is a sphere 2 or 3 Dimensional?

A sphere is a round dimensional shape it’s 2 and 3 dimensional shape

What has 4 corners, 3 faces and its a 3d dimensional shape?
Pyramid
